New statutory guidance published by the DfE on 19 November 2021 states that schools should publish a Uniform policy on their school website. It also states that they should also publish details of how and where second-hand uniform is available. Please see our school’s uniform policy in the Policies section of our website.
Our school uniform is a white polo shirt (no badge needed), grey skirt / trousers / shorts, blue jumper or cardigan (preferably with logo), white or grey socks.
PE kit is plain blue t-shirt and shorts and trainers. NO football strips to be worn.
We expect children to attend school in uniform unless it is their PE day, in which case they should come dressed in their Bollinbrook PE kit. Jogging pants and a fleece, ideally black or navy blue, can be used for the winter / colder days.
Staff will remind children of the expectations and we will contact parents / carers directly if we need to. If there are any problems regarding the purchase / wearing of uniform, then please contact the headteacher directly or speak to our pastoral team.
We do not expect uniform to be a barrier to a child’s attendance or learning and our staff are here to support our families.
